We arrived at Bramwell station in great time today. While Ben and I were busy unpacking, sorting
and packing again into the car, the kids were left to entertain themselves
today. To our absolute joy, they devised
a plan to put on a theatrical performance of Waltzing Matilda for us, complete
with tickets, and backdrop. It was a lot
of fun, and they did very well. It’s
amazing what they can do with lots of time to kill.
Afterwards, scooters came out, and we just saw kids whizzing
by. Ben enjoyed a few beers with the
grey nomads, Pete’s shout, and Larina and I coloured in – our new favourite
pastime together. Those textas are still
going strong Cynthia!
Happy hour involved listening to the history of the station
and a more formal introduction to the pet brolga – who sits behind the fence
due to her tendency to bite children.

Love the kid's performance! Ours aren't theatrical at all but one night at Arkaroola they decided to do a couple of skits for us. Priceless memories.
