Kununurra

“Happy Mother’s day” said Ben during our pack up, which could only just be heard over the noise of tired wingy children.  Yep.  Just another day on the road.  By lunch time, we reflected on the morning so far, which had included pack up, drive to Kununurra, set up at the caravan park, and then grocery shopping with five empty stomachs.  You get the feel of the day….  The afternoon spent relaxing by the pool was well earned.
Kimberlyland caravan park was fun, with out spot looking out over Lake Kununurra.  Rodney the croc visited us on sunset, as we had been informed about, so we enjoyed sitting watching him for some time on the shore.  It was good to see a fresh water croc up close!
The sad part of Kununurra was saying goodbye to the Brown family, who were heading out on a fantastic canoe adventure for a few nights.  (we have been inspired to have a go at a local river on our return...)  We are so blessed to have been introduced to you guys by the Bucknell's and look forward to catching up with you all in Melbourne (or on the road) sometime soon.
