We have enjoyed this part of the
coast so much and Hull Heads is just another example of a great camp spot right
on the beach and river. Grassy sights and as a council reserve only $16 per
night flat ie no extra for the kids and hot showers to boot… we decided 3
nights was the go here as it was so lovely. The usual fun was had at the
playground only 10 meters from the camper with some walks on the beach each
afternoon. Saturday morning arrived, Sam and I headed off to the Tully Sugar
Mill to take a tour. I have been looking forward to this for some time and the
tour did not disappoint we were able to go through the whole site with no
barriers or fences, a real experience lead by informative guides. Hats off
Tully! Sunday morning we attended Tully Baptist church, after the service we
had a quick chat to the Pastors Zane and Jo who out of the blue invited us to
stay on their farm for a few days as they had plenty of room. They were in full
swing picking Zucchini’s, Eggplant and Paw Paw – this was an offer to great to
refuse we couldn’t wait to get there.
