Alice - take 2

Dust, dust and more dust.  A wise man (Tony) had told us that on every long road trip you need to take time to do a big spring clean at least once.  For us it was at Alice (yes, and Perth for those attentive readers…) So we booked back into “g’day mate” our friendly van park, and got to work.  After a few days of dusting, 6 loads of washing, our biggest stock up of groceries to date, and a big visit to the post office, we were feeling a little more positive about pressing on.  We even managed to squeeze in a ranger talk at Simpsons Gap, which was great.  The Rangers here in Northern Territory have an incredible passion and wealth of knowledge that they are so keen to share.  It has enriched our visits to all the national parks greatly.
We are excited to head north into warmer weather tomorrow, and hope to cross over the border to Queensland the following day.  Feels like we are beginning our journey home.
